Software Engineer
We are looking for exceptional software engineers or senior software engineers that have the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment where action and initiative are required.
Responsibilities:
- Work with other engineers to build a large-scale distributed application using open-source components that accesses, processes, and updates real-time data across the Internet.
- Will develop algorithms, systems and operations of the technology.
Requirements:
- Strong command of C/C++, perl, Python, FreeBSD, and Unix/Linux.
- Experience working through an entire life cycle of a web-based service from concept, implementation, testing to maintenance
- Ability to work closely with customers, provide technical support in understanding customers' requirements and translate these requirements into technically viable end-to-end solutions including implementation details.
- Experience with databases such as Oracle, Postgres, Sybase, mySQL, Ingres and/or Informix.
- Familiarity with application level network protocols (e.g., HTTP and/or SSL).
- Excellent communication and relationship skills along with being a strong team player.
- Demonstrable analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressured, unstructured, customer-oriented environment.
Front-End Java Software Developer
Efficient Frontier's product requires a front-end that encapsulates the various business processes related to managing advertising spend on the Internet as well as satisfies the real-time reporting needs of our clients and customers. Our front-end developers are involved with designing, implementing, streamlining, and automating business processes as well as providing real time reports that support all the needs of the biggest advertisers on the Internet as well as Efficient Frontier's internal team of account managers.
We are looking for enthusiastic software engineers that have the
ability to excel in a fast-paced environment where action and
initiative are required.
Requirements:
- Strong foundation in Java, SQL, Unix/Linux, HTML/XML, and Python/Perl scripting.
- Should have experience with the following: a web application framework such as Tapestry, Struts, WebWork, or JSF; object- relational mapping tools such as Hibernate, or Toplink; web services, SOAP.
- Experience working through an entire life cycle of a web- based service from concept, implementation, testing to maintenance.
- Ability to work closely with customers, provide technical support in understanding customers' requirements and translate these requirements into technically viable end-to-end solutions including implementation details.
